Many thanks for your sighting and sorry for the late reply. The ring code for this bird is FVH and its life-history is as follows:-
26.07.98 Orfordness, Suffolk, England - ringed as pullus
12.05.01 Orfordness - present to 05.08.01
12.05.02 Orfordness - present to 21.07.02
Although this bird has been seen times, yours is the first away from Orfordness where it was ringed. I hope that the above information is of interest and please let me know if you see any more of our red-ringed gulls in the future.
Do you have the co-ordinates for Plage de Corz ??
